Blessings and Not so Blessings!!

Mackenzie is really enjoying it when we take her into the pool. From the get go she has been a real water baby. Loves her baths and of course since Uncle Jacob taught her to pour water over her head, every glass of water would go there, if she had her choice!! It won't be much longer and I guess it will be time to shut down the pool.

When she stands on the third step it is just perfectly up to her chin. The other photo with her and I is when she was splashing me. She was really fascinated with the splashes of water running down my face. I had to slip a kiss in there.

This is her with two of our cats, Yoyo and Howl.

There is a story with this photo. The pond area went dry for the first time this year. So Rick was cutting it as the kudzu was going really wild. To do that, he starts at the top of the hill, going down at a fast pace, taking everything out with him as he goes. Well something broke and he had to leave the mower there while he found a part. So last sunday as I was leaving for church I glanced over at the pond area to see that with the rain in the night, our pond went from totally empty, to the mess above.

We've been having a fun time!!

Tamara and I took Mackenzie to Chuckee Cheese the other day. Her Momma took her up into the climbing tubes up over head. They both had a fabulous time. Chuckee Cheese did not seem to be as fun as it used to be though. When Chuckee came out he went to the birthday party only - and then not for long. Before you knew it, he had  disappeared around the back again.

We knew if we were gonna go to Chuckee Cheese
then we needed to go before Tamara started to school. This will be her first full week in the Nursing Program, so Mackenzie and I will have a lot of time together!!

Mackenzie had a very good time on the climbing area too and down the slide. She went on it again and again and again and.................

Below and to the side are photos of her and our dog, Sheba. They are getting along pretty well.

This was her playing with her Aunt Alaina. Everything that Alaina would do, Mackenzie would try to copy. Mackenzie will be 17 months on Wednesday. Time is going fast!!!

Kicking her legs ~ just like Aunt Alaina!!
